Painting

 

Kori is a contemporary artist and educator based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kori’s earliest memories involve coloring, drawing, gluing, and sewing. Her love of art, as well as her abilities, has grown exponentially since. At age 15, she began painting.

A native of Indianapolis, her colorful paintings and digital art capture the Black Experience, the vibrant spirit of women, and the strength of family, family pets, and abstract expression through various artistic mediums and styles.

Kori was a resident assistant during her time at Ball State University '18. In order to get her residents to attend hall events and meetings, Kori used her creativity and marketing abilities to create colorful and engaging posters and advertising. This is when her love for digital design and marketing started to blossom.

Now, Kori creates digital illustrations and designs artwork for social media marketing, flyers, and advertisements for local businesses and start ups. Kori also custom creates the decorative material for her classroom.
